This Company Cracked Pair Programming (And It Works!)

An unnamed company measured data for their SLDC, primarily PR lead time to implement a feature, which was on average 151 hours. The experiment was to use pair programming on no less than 30% of their work. The myths of pair programming are typically (1) getting half the features delivered, (2) quality drops without PRs, and (3) growing bug count without PR reviews. The lead time reduced to 44 hours and the defect count reduced. The video also cites several studies that corroborate the benefits of pair programming.
