Leadership Training Can Pay Huge Dividends for Midsize Companies (via HBR)

There are many constraints for mid-sized companies, acting as barriers to developing emerging leaders; however, equipping those leaders with valuable skills can really pay off later. (1) Design the program to address urgent problems. (2) Growing = add resources to get revenue; Scaling = increase revenue without changing much. (3) Train in the real world, not just in the classroom. (4) Ensure that students win, too; tie it to career growth. (5) Pass on the culture and the skills/frameworks.
